Fashion with a Passion Event

Safe Harbor's event Fashion with a Passion infused local retailers and a good cause perfectly. Party go-ers got to donate to a good cause while planning their spring wardrobe. It was differently a win win for all!

1. The event was held at the Poinsett Club. I loved the way they used the large ballroom for the fashion show and bar and the smaller ballroom for the silent auction. Great use of space. Plenty of room for the big crowd supporting safe harbor.

So BIG I could not get everyone in the picture.
The runway show was your typically T shape but the background was not so typically. It really made you feel like you were at a fancy fashion show.
2. So many different looks by all the local retailers. Here are a few of my favorites.
Cute for work with a blazer and then take that blazer off for happy hour with your honey.
This dress was a crowd favorite. Coplon's bravo.
This is why Monkee's is so fantastic. I would never think to style these two pieces together. Great look.

Love the back of this dress from Monkee's.

Now we are talking. Love those colors. Bring on the spring/summer prints ASAP.
Some more great shorts, perfect outfit for the Clemson vs. Georgia Game. What, I am just thinking ahead.
Sassy. We ALWAYS love sequins on the runway.
Southern Tide helped the gentlemen in the crowd get a glimpse into trends for spring.
If you have not been to vestique, you better hop on it.
RSVP Greenville loves a good chevron print.
3. What would a fashion show be without a solid grand's ok if you are clapping as you scroll.
4. Now let's talk a little bit more about the event decor.
Love the event signage by the bar. Lighting it up.
Ladies from Wisteria and vestique knew how to work that walk and repeat. Great idea by the hosts to have it inside the event. Smart.
Table decor was simple and light. Making the focus be the fashion show.
Backdrop to the bar was festive and drew people to the back of the room.

5. Now for my party go-ers compliments.

Love Angela's fun party hat. I bet her personality is just as fun as her hat.
Susan Spitzer the director of development for Safe Harbor and looked fantastic in her blue dress and bling bling necklace. Her daughter looked so cute in her tank and skirt combo.
Now, you would never guess that skirt her daughter is wearing was made out of Susan's wedding dress. Love love that.

"Spotted" Lauren Greer wearing Kate Spade polka dot tights.
A local Greenville celebrity, Katie Rockwell wearing Safe Harbor Resale Shop. Love her see rocked the looks for the Safe Harbor Resale Shop on and off the runway. If you ever get a chance to see Katie and one of Warehouse Theatre's productions you better go for it. She was outstanding in Cabaret. Her husband Larry Rockwell looked in Kenneth Cole.
Had to get a picture of Larry Rockwell's rings. Thank you for your edge- it is quite refreshing.

Katherine Birchenough wearing a chic BCBG jumpsuit.

RSVP Greenville's first Alexander McQueen compliment. Very jealous of you Katherine. This purse is brilliant. I jumped when I saw it.

6. Our last compliment goes to all the supporters of Safe Harbor.
Lots of  great ways to donate to Safe Harbor. Please click here for additional information. Thank you to all that supported safe harbor through attending Fashion for a Passion our heart felt compliments go to you and your generosity.
